Investigate the Vote

At the request of several Democratic Members of Congress, the Government Office of Accounting will investigate the 2004 vote.

As the AP story below says, the GAO has no enforcement powers. But it's a start.

However, a judge in Ohio has denied a recount before the totals there are official on December 6. Bush led unofficially by only 125,000 votes.

At the moment it looks as if any real efforts will drag on well past the time that would make any difference for the quite possibly stolen 2004 election. The powers that be are much more interested in investigating the Ukraine's election, since the outcome there was not to their liking.
